Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

My good friend Pam Kirk has asked me to post and share this for her.

Pam was told by doctors on May 15th that she has cancer. All cancers are serious, so for right now we will say that she is in the healing stage and taking things one step at a time.
Pam would like to ask for your prayers of healing and strength. We believe in the power of love and positive thoughts.
Also, unfortunately, at this time she is unable to get behind her sewing machine. Even though this is her full time job, she's always thought of it as "fun", taking a lot of pleasure in creating all of those sails and hoping to make someone smile.
This is one of those circumstances in life that none of us ever think we'll have to face. With all of the friendships that we make over a lifetime, we seldom take the time to really express what that means to each of us. Seems we're just too busy with work or even too busy playing!
For every friendship that Pam has made over all these years, new and old, near and far, she wants you all to know how much she treasures them and she thanks you for them.
Love to you all and God Bless!

I haven't yet had the pleasure of meeting her, but I cherish the sails she's had a hand in which reside proudly in my A bag.  I always smile when I fly those kites, and I fly them often.  My prayers are with her.

sincerely,

Dave
