How accurate is the line length?
Is the 120' line really 120'?

Prism Modulus line is only available in dual line sets.  To make a quad you would need to purchase two sets - and I don't know how accurate in length one set would be to the other - although they would be perfectly matched to each other.  You could probably use one set on the tops and the other on the bottoms, that way any difference between the two sets (if any) wouldn't really matter that much and could be adjusted with the handle leaders.

Just wondering..... Anybody else tried out these lines yet ? Had kind of decided to get a set, but couldīnt find them stocked anywhere in Europe. Cry So instead ordered a set of Climax ProTec and one of Climax Profi-Line. Cool

But one canīt help wondering..... Wink

Ohh !  What a cool feature. Just noticed, that I am actually getting warned, that this is an old thread, and I should consider making a new thread. Oops ! Well, Iīll take my chances, and re-open this thread. Really donīt think theres valid reason to contaminate the forum, with a whole new thread, just because Iīm curious. Hope itīs okay, guys and gals.

I've found the Modulus line to be very similar to the Laser Pro Gold.  If You like LP Gold you will like the Modulus.
FYI ... shipping to Denmark for one set would run $8.00.

I've found that they are not as "slippery" when twisted around each other as ordinary spectra - which has taken me a little getting used to... Shocked

cheers

Hey SteveH...

Not as slippery ? That's a surprise. I really like the LPG linesets that I got recently. The one problem I have it not being able to tell which direction to unwind them once they get a number of twists in them. You can put another 5 wraps in them, and not be able to tell if they're tighter or looser. I must have had 20-30 wraps in my 90# set yesterday, and they still weren't binding to badly. I can only get 10-15 wraps in my regular Prism linesets before I can feel binding.

Hmm.... It seems to be quite a lot of "pro et contra", about these Modulus-strings.... Guess one has to try them, to find out. What works for one person, doesīnt for another. But so it is with most things I guess....
 Undecided

But, I donīt see anybody saying "Theyīre horrible, donīt get near `em !", so maybe I should try the out. Iīm not an experienced kiter, yet, so hasīnt a whole lot to compare with, and haveīnt tried LPG. Most flying time on the Dyneema set, that came with my Wolkenstürmer, but has just taken delivery of a Climax Protec, and a Climax Profiline set. Iīll give em a "spin", and see how they work out.
 Cool

But thanks for your input, guys, always nice to hear others "hands-on-experience" with stuff.

I've had a set of these for about a month, a 90# x 75' set, just got the chance to try them last weekend. I really like them alot, they seem a bit thinner and a bit more coated than regular LPG, otherwise, they are about the same. They were dead even in length to each other, and don't bind up that much to me, I mean, how many wraps do you actually put in your lines? Shanti seems a bit slicker to me, especially with wraps, but I like the feedback and instant reponse you get with LPG.  If you like LPG, then you'll love them.
