One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.

Shouldn't there be some Mylar in there Randy?  Smiley Have only had this one out once so far.  Seems pretty tricky and a nice fly...

Sorry! Left "LW" out of the title. No Mylar with that version. Wink

Awesome!  The color schemes compliment each other nicely.  Hope to fly one sometime.  Let us know what you think of the 3E.

Thanks, Krijn!

Not sure why that pic looks off register. Measuring the kite to the edge of the sail the kite is measures 223cm  x 88cm so I think it's up to spec. Someone want to check me? Wink

As I recall there has been three editions (original, NSE and this version). Also the 15th Edition. Everything else were variations on these. Again, as I can remember without researching.

At the LBI Festival I did try Ian Willoughby's NSE LW and it reacted REAL good in trick transitions. I believe with current Euro to Dollar conversion at $228.00 this is a pretty good buy. Did not try the HW ... but the LW (SUL) is a winner in my book. Not sure what all this talk about build quality was about?

I've been away from kiting for quite a while and this is my first kite purchase in a very long time. With the N3E LW Roger has made a huge leap in build quality. There are very nice touches that I've not seen before with R-Sky kites.

Im probably repeating myself but there was, and maybe still is, a faction of flyers that dislike the Nirvana for what it represented when it was introduced. They said it pulled too much, was too noisy, etc. And build quality was one thing they harped on. To an extent they had a point. There were some rough edges with the quality here and there. It seems with this kite many of those issues have been addressed. I never worried about such since they were all such great performers.

The N3E LW is different, to an extent. Loves to be on its back. It's not quite as crisp in the corners as my original LW. Multilazies are a snap. Comets are crazy easy. It just hands em out freely! Very forgiving. I've had to make small adjustments here and there. Flare to Fade takes a wee bit more slack to get back to the Fade. In its current configuration roll ups are very difficult. Not gonna mod it yet just to do roll ups.  Two pops in light wind are there and Slots don't require very much slack at all.

Weren't there a few iterations of the NFX also?  Or are the Extend/Mangia just a different color layout?
