I don't consider those kits Nirvana's. They really aren't true polyvalents. Nice kitea but not Nirvanas!

Hi Randy,
cool to read, that you're back at Nirvana! Grin

In its current configuration roll ups are very difficult. Not gonna mod it yet just to do roll ups.

Which version of the N3E LW is it? One of the first ones (bridle attached right below lower connectors) or a current one (bridle attached about 5cm below lower connectors). I am asking, because I have one of the first ones. Liked it a lot, but it was very difficult to do one-pop yo-yos with it. Then I read about an update - remember, it is still a Nirvana Wink - and did all the configuration changes on mine like shorter upper and lower spreaders, longer standoffs, slightly different bridle dimensions, lower bridle attachments points. It should come stock this way now.
I was surprised, that it improved in almost every aspect. It has more pressure, is more precise, feels better on its back and does one-pop yo-yos pretty easily. I added another 5g and now it is one of my favourite ULs.

BTW: The WW was updated in the same way as the LW, but I am not able to roll up this one with one single input. But two pops are working so nicely, I do not miss the one-pop yo-yos in a SUL.

IMO the N3E is the best Nirvana ever. And the good thing is, that this is the case for all three versions, WW, LW and Std.

Is there a source for current settings?  Would like to measure my N3E Std.

Thanks!

The STD has not changed and the different settings are just valid for LW and WW.
It was published in FB about a year ago:
https://www.facebook.com/rskykites/photos/a.165134130749.116881.164964140749/10152784080755750/?type=1&theater

Before I am telling something completely wrong: I am not sure, if LW and WW come stock with these changes. I thought they do, because I saw the lower bridle points later on a LW and the owner told me, that he bought it new this way. I do not really know though.

I know, it sounds a bit unreal, but for me the N3E is more precise than the NSE *and* is easier to trick. How it feels on the lines reminds me more on the original Nirvana than on the NSE.
And trick-wise it's more modern: Taz machines are so easy! Cyniques are there and even YoFades are not difficult. The kites loves to be on its back.
Having flown it a few times, I sold the NSE, but I will keep the first version.

No leech line for the STD, but for the LW and WW.

It's a regular STD, but with Nitro lower spreaders and 5PT spine.
I liked it pretty much how it came stock, but I did several tests with different frame configurations. One of them was an all Nitro version. I ended up with the setting above.
