One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

From reading different post in this forum and others, I have made my choice. I'm going with the FW Beetle. Now I just need help locating a retailer in Canada. South West Ontario, Niagara to Toronto to narrow it down a bit. Any Ideas any one?

Correct ... we do ship to Canada.  Only problem is that on low cost kites the shipping cost can be prohibitive.  The Beetle, which retails for $50, would incur $22.00 in shipping.

So as much as I'd like to sell you a kite you may be better served by shopping locally if possible.

While we do discourage commercial links ...

Let me Google that for you

Thanks, but I already looked into shipping from the US. That is why I asked. I did just find a place (the only place so far)that has the FW Beetle 2100+ here in Canada but they want $75. Thats nuts! The exchange isn't that bad.

Well there you go, buy from Steve & save 3 bucks  Wink

or is that 75 canadian? if so then I guess you save 3 bucks buying there, unless you still have to pay shipping.

That's $75 + $10 to $15 for shipping + tax, all in Canadian dollars. Sound like someone is being greedy considering I found a Quantum for $110 Canadian + shipping. Doesn't the Quantum go for about the same in US$.

Bringing this topic up from the dead.  I live in southern Ontario and am looking for my 1st real kite.  Thinking of a HYpnotist as the Ignitor I have doesn't do much for me.  Are there any retail locations between Toronto and Hamilton that I could check out?
