Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Steve...

That movie was hilarious. Sad but true, I've noticed a trend towards the reality of that movie, too.

People have had it too easy for too long.  If times get real hard again, the stupid will die off. I'll probably go with them.

Wife and I were at a stop light just yesterday, and I commented to a guy stopped next to us that he had dropped his cigarette on the ground. I got the finger from him and the comment "it's sad what our society has come to" from my wife.

It's kind of like going to the park/beach and the trash can is mostly empty, but there is trash all around it. If your are going to make an effort to throw something at the can at least make sure it goes in.
