One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

The Insync in hot July Las Vegas weather flys and turns normally when the wind get to about 6 mph (I got about 2 minutes in before the wind started dropping).

Then the wind kept slowly dropping. My kite order went:

Insync, Opium, Mojo UL, Inner Space

I got a 3 revolution Taz Machine more than once on both the Mojo UL and the Inner Space SUL. That includes flying out of the trick at the end. Huh

The odd thing to me was that both of these excellent kites started out nose high (per the RG tutorial), but within 1 revolution the kites flattened out and rolled a bit toward the center of rotation and looked very much like a kite doing a pinwheel, only in reverse. I hadn't noticed this before with the weighted Widow Maker UL last week.

My thanks to Jim Byrne for opening the door by writing how UL kites seem well suited to the TM.

I started doing 540's with ease on the Benson Inner Space. My favorite is the Fade - if the wind is pure and just right ... you can one hand hold a fade for SEVERAL minutes. Its an ego thing with me ...  Cool Cool Cool

Backspin cascade!  Smiley

I can get it pretty reliably now, particularly on the SUL.  Got 4 in a row last night - very fun trick.
