One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Thought this might be a good place to finally announce a new club that has formed in Utah, Utah Kite Fliers (http//:www.utahkitefliers.org).

We started the club in 2008 and had a great first season. We currently have about 7 or 8 events scheduled for 2009 and it looks to be a great season coming up! We've been contacted by many orginizations in Utah asking us to come out and fly kites. It's a good thing that is what we do, otherwise it would be a little odd  .

We fly mainly in the Salt Lake City area but travel south and even into Idaho to fly (at events).
