Welcome to the GWTW Forum.

One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

This was a test of the AUTO mode. Lens was the 55-200 VR kit lens with VR on. I was flying on 30 foot lines (left hand) and making no attempt to steady the camera which was held solely by my right hand on the side grip.
Time of photos: 6:45 - 7:15 pm Aug 2, 2009 so the sun was pretty low.

Original photos start off about 4300x2800 and when cropped were around 3200x2400. Uploaded to Webshots with their software doing the image size reduction and added compression. I've done a couple of before/after shots so you can see how much touchup was done in Elements.

There was more blur than I would have guessed with some photos unusable. I've put in a few of the slightly blurred photos. The main difference I notice is lack of noise in the sky after touch up compared to my Olympus 8080.

Photos start at the link below (kites chosen for JimB, RonG and DougC):

My next test will be to use the SPORTS mode to open up the lens which only goes to f5.6 wide open. I am open to comments.

if it's motion blur try using shutter priority.
