Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

With the recent seemingly endless rash of dead famous people to include the older, formerly famous: Gale Storm, Ed McMahon..... it was Billy's death which affected me the most.

I had been following his reality show "Pitchmen", which started just a few months ago. I learned more about business and market targeting watching that show than in the silly business classes I took in college.

He marketed himself as he did his products, with trademark items (blue shirt, jet black hair and beard, booming voice, etc) and an understanding that the product had to fill a need and actually work.

He refused to do alcohol or tobacco products.

I'm on the fence with pop-culture stuff like this. Is it a good thing I've never heard of this guy and his products,  or a bad thing?

Well as far as products Billy touted.....

I never even noticed Billy until Bambi started using Oxiclean:

She told me to faithfully put some in to every load of wash we do. Now stores carry the product and Oxiclean is being put in other products.

Oxiclean: Bambi endorsed.

I just thought it odd that his getting hit on the head from luggage stored in the "walk on" bins (might have) killed him. I guess we will know more when the ME is done with him.

I liked his show too but his Blooper show was super funny Cheesy

That quote has been attributed to George Carlin, Richard Pryor, and Robin Williams.

However, it was Peter Frampton who said that I do believe..
