One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Dieppe KITE International 2009 - Dieppe Kite Festival, New Brunswick, Canada

When: Wednesday, August 12th to Saturday, August 15th, 2009
Where: Dover Park, Dieppe, New Brunswick - Dover Road is off Rue Amirault - a continuation of Acadie Avenue

The fourth Dieppe Kite International festival will take place once again at Dover Park.  Over 50,000 people are expected and organizers believe that the numbers will increase over the next few years.

This combination of culture and the novelty of kites will appeal to both young and old. Fourteen countries are  expected to participate and a variety of cultural activities are planned with, of course, the kite being the focal point.

All-day Festival Pass $20
$10 for passes that exclue Friday night Cayouche and Dominique Dupuis Show
$5 for a day pass
Children under 14 years-old (accompanied by an adult) are free

There is one in Dieppe Canada on the Odd years. The format is similar.

My wife and I will also be there, arriving late on Sunday the 9th, departing on the 17th.  I'll have a whole bunch of quads we can abuse together so look for me if you want to test or get a lesson.
(I'm a flailer,... you can't miss me!)

Anybody have a spare 16'+ banner pole or two I could borrow while I'm up there?

I am not bringing the Golf bag this time. I will not be giving Continental the chance to destroy my kites so they are going carry on.
