One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Normally I practice and fly stunt kites in the morning and chill and fly - SLK types of a fly and stick in the sky - primarily Brassington's. I will test fly it. I normally just sit and go in the ocean in the afternoon's. Its proably like a Large Zero G? I may just buy it right on the beach from Ken ... I have to see how radical is its flight.

Don't know if I'll have one with me, but if I do, and the wind is appropriate, I'll probably break it out.

I'm sure Rob can make a better comparison that me, as I I've not flown any of the other low/zero-wind single line maneuverables (LZM's?) out there.  My feeling is that the 61/49 flies more like a big 3D fighter than it does a glider such as the Zero G or Plutz.

I'm doing good to have kites for myself when I go to festivals.  I almost certainly won't have one with me available for sale. ;-)

See you out there.
Ken

I love the 61/49.
First it packs down to spar length so it is easy to carry
Easy assembly gets up and flying quickly
It is definitely an interactive flyer, you need to keep a hand on the live and an eye on the kite.... But it does not do anything quick, it is a bigger kite and so turns and spins take some time
If there is a gust of wind it can pull like a truck, wear a glove if you think there might be upper wind levels
Take your time learning to control it, it is a lot like a fighter (slack to turn, pull to climb/go forward)
It is not a glider! If line is given and the wind did this kite will drop like an elevator, straight down flat.....

But.... It is one of my favorite kites out there in my bags.....
I was late to get one but very happy I did

Bigger grin when you have it headed straight towards the sand and then give it slack and a sharp tug a second later causing the kite to flatten out and then do a center pivot flat flat flat spin
