Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Ron had a couple of those at U-MAKE two weeks ago. I'm thinking it's an indoor/light wind kite, similar to Jon Trennepohl's Tyro.

Sam, that kite is called Celeste II and is Ron's version of the light wind canard. He has made them in Icarex and Cuben fiber so far. They fly nicely in light winds and up to ~ 8 mph. I have one and will find out how it flies in zero wind at our indoor fly on March 31st.

I had the same question on Ron's new kite. Is it available for sale? I have not checked his website.

I think Ron is more active on Facebook than his website. The one he's holding in that pic is the prototype, I know he has made a few of them.

Cervia is what's in Italy. Big Kite Festival

Carl Robertshaw is the someone (the designer of the kite)

As always, it was fun to talk with Jon about the development of a kite. His enthusiasm is infectious!
