One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

really nice find. any intention to sell Rev's 1 ?

........ I think that's mostly because she thinks that I have too many kites at the moment....

Can i peruse the rest of your "excessive" kite bags Brett Wink
We could trade and then she cannot say anything about the cost!

Sure - come on over and take a look.  They are all out on the back porch.  Grin
My wife wouldn't complain if a Deca mysteriously showed up.  That is the one kite that I got rid of that she gives me a hard time about.  Even last weekend.

I think that it is a rok in the style of nagel. When I have a chance I'll take a look. I suppose that it would be signed or have a tag, right?

The one kite I have made by Randy I think was signed in black ink. No actual tag...I am seeing some great things in that pile - good thing I am not local or I would take you up on that above comment Wink

I'm just gonna show The Lovely Diana™ that picture.

She is constantly going on about my kites taking up "an entire closet".

So I started going through the kites.

I think that this one is a fighter.  Not sure.  It had an extra spine.  It says Kato Sato on it.

A cool mylar box kite.  I've never seen a box kite in person before.  Are the spars supposed to bow like that?

some more box kites of various sizes

A cheetah stunt kite

A big spin sock (not sure why it rotated)

A big long thing of tails (also rotated\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

It got dark, so I didn't take pictures, but I found a bag with more red/white/blue spin socks.  The big one in the picture is about 3 feet in diameter.  There was a medium (maybe 2'), and a small (maybe a foot diameter), and a few  6 inch American flag wind socks.  I wonder which kite he flew them with.

There was also 2 50 foot tube tails.

I still haven't gotten through much.

That mylar box is a lee Sedgwick cube - not at all like a shanti cube!!!
Lee's has a sliding bridle and is only for indoors.... Yes, rods bow outward..
Beautiful fighter!!!!
