Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Hey everyone!

I wanted to introduce myself.  By name is Bill and my good friend Sir "Coop" has given me the kite bug!  He has introduced me to some old school two line kites, I went from no interest in kites to loving flying.  He says this is the place all the real good kite people are.

Now I look forward to getting to know you all, building my kite collection, getting good at flying, and teaching my kids to love this hobby as well, and overall having a great time!

Thanks in advance for all the advice and great deals on kites!  Cheesy

Thanks, Happy Wednesday!

Bill

Hi, Bill, and welcome to the forum. Lots of festivals in the Midwest -- perhaps we'll meet at one of them. I look forward to flying with you.

Bill,

Wife and I travel up to O'Fallon to visit son, and always have some kites with me.  Maybe we can get together and fly!

I've been looking for one like yours...  seems ones that big are hard to find.  Got to figure out should I buy big because I know I'll need it or buy small and eventually have to upgrade...

Thank you for the greeting!

Thanks!  Yeah, I've started following the Gateway Kite Club.  Going to end up joining the club.  They are having an indoor fly and competition tonight and a big festival tomorrow.  Any others I should know about around here?

That could be fun!  Shoot me a message when you're headed this way and I'm sure we'll make it work one day.
