I was lucky enough to be in the class. There were no plans, just numerous pre-cut pieces. Martin did lots of one on one instructing to help us all get our projects completed.

you can get them directly from martin (martinlester.co.uk) that should be easiest and fastest...here in the states you have to go to Gomberg to get them....
funny I was just asked if there was a plan available for another one of his kites the other day too....as far as i know Martin has not released any plans for any of his kites... (except for his Yakko Stack)

Someone from an online kite store has these for sale at one time. He may still have some. Check it out. Not sure what the policy is on linking to other kite stores, so maybe some Google time would help out. I made one with Martin at OKR. If I had it to do over, I think I would rather buy one ready made. It was a REAL challenge to make..even with Martin there to help out. (I had to rip out, and resew at least 40% of the kite. ) I just did a GOOGLE on "Lester spirit" and hit the link to the shop selling the kite. It was the 3rd link posted, so easy to find.

I found Spiritman on Gomberg`s website. But they are built in England Europe. I`m living in Estonia Europe. Send it from europe to USA and then back to Europe Estonia. I think it`s not the shortest way to get it

(except for his Yakko Stack) Sorry to correct you Rob…… Martin has published plans for his ‘Legs’ kite and ‘Top Half’ kite. The Legs plan was included in a German kite making book (can’t remember which one, but it came with templates all pre cut) and the ‘Top Half’ plans were published in Kitelines magazine. I can probably dig out the ‘Top Half’ plans if anyone really wants them.

Kitelines would have had permission. There were many plans in German books that were not authorized. Rob another Rob

Having just had another look at the ‘Top Half’ plans, I feel really inspired to make one this winter. It just looks a great fun kite.
