One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I've got a STX 2.1 coming from Laura's sale lacking lower spreaders.

Does anybody have specs for this kite or can confirm the correct spar and dimensions ?

I'm told its probably Avia GF SUL.

Thanks,

not that it applies, but I have info on the stx 1.8 if anyone is looking for it as it doesnt look to be on the site Rob posted. I know there was a std and pro version. That may apply to there other stx as well.

Fraz, I thought there were a few variants on bridles as well but i cant find any of my notes on it. Still fly my 1.9

I havent seen anyone that still has those rods. I have a few for spares for my prisms that I got from old city kites in old Sac but I Don't know if they have any left.  You can use nitro rods instead as they are a pretty close match but you might have to cut down from the large end to match the flex or 5pt.
