Welcome to the GWTW Forum.

One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

A thought hit me just now... is there any other option for Rev's besides the Revolution made rods?  Not wanting to switch, just curious really.

Yes, SkyShark for sure. You can also mix and match Rev tubes with each other to achieve desired flight characteristics. Some of the carbon tubes that are available differ in length from the Rev tubes, so you will have to cut them, and you will also need to make ferrules as most are not sold as finished frames.

Skyshark III? Do you mean a P300?  What did you use for the sail spars?

I did get the name wrong, it was an old non-tapered Sky Shark 3 wrap back before they had consistent labels, just had a purple ring painted on it. I believe they were called 3P back then.
