One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.

Anyone want to fly at Dillon Beach this Sunday the 23rd ? Winds are suppose to be 5 to 7 in the morning and 8 to 10 in the afternoon. Morning low mid 50's afternoon high low 60's. I'm thinking of camping there Sunday night, I'm retired, I don't have to work Monday and its suppose to be 4 to 6 all day. The UL in my avatar is going to get a lot of air time Monday.  Cool

I want to, as I am supposed to help out at my son's archery tournament this weekend.  An archery tournament for non-participants makes watching grass grow seem exciting.  Fortunately, I can do both, as it is an outdoor tournament.

That, plus the 14 hour, one-way drive, is making me say that I will probably not make it.  Embarrassed

Have fun!!  Wink

My youngest son lives in Lynnwood. You could split the driving and gas with him.  Wink

I prefer Doran beach for the hot showers , plus Candy n kites brings demos out Friday pm when closes his shop. He buggies too so he'll absolutely have a power kite handy.

Unless the wind is out of the south, Dillon is a better place to fly. If you don't have a camper to shower in its only a short drive to Doran.
There's only a couple of kites I'm interested in trying right now and I don't think Candy & Kites would have either one of them.
