One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Not sure how it happened but it did. I am looking for replacement stand offs for my Vented Talon.  I read somewhere that  J.O.E hangs out sometimes on this forum.
So if you know where I can get the replacement stand offs or something that would work. Please let me know.  Or if you know the builder and could put me in touch with them I would greatly appreciate it.
      Thanks, Mike

He stopped building kites.

But changing standoffs is the most easy job...

I will take another look at the kite, I thought that it had a special kind of connection.  I may be able too get the screw in type, I will have to look. If so that will be easy.

My problem is the little hump thing that you push through has somehow broken off.

I would send a note or call over to Kent at Wind of Change. He sold Mark Clements/Jest of eve kites and might be able to tell you the size and would probably have that part in stock.
Unless you want to sell the vent Wink Cheesy

The part is also available in the states here (forum sponsor) http://www.awindofchange.com/product/goo-soconnector.html

I would call Wind of Change as suggested in an earlier response to make sure you end up with the proper diameter fitting for your particular standoff.  You should be able to remove the old/broken fitting and just press fit the new one so you don't have to cut a new piece of carbon.  If Brian Mark (JoE kites) used CA glue, you should boil the old spar... it may help it release.  Worst case is you have to get a new piece if carbon.
