Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I haven't been on here for quite some time. And I don't remember the owner of GWTW before Steve, but he may remember Wayne Dydo. He lived in San Diego I believe, and Wayne knew GWTW and told me he flew with the original owner and had bought several kites from him. Well anyway, Wayne passed away unexpectedly on Friday the 21st. He and his wife Jennifer are long time members of our club, The Black Swamp Air Force and was a fixture at the Great Lakes Kite Festival at Grand Haven.  He and Jennifer were just at our festival, The North Coast Stunt Kite Games and was in good spirits and seemed in good health, so this caught us all by surprise. There will be no service as requested by Wayne.

The original owner of GWTW was Dan Whitney. Personable, always a big smile and a flyer who could make a Gem standard fly when my Vapor was struggling. I am sorry to hear of Wayne's passing.
