One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Because of a severe lack of wind, for the last 4 months or so, I've almost exclusively been flying my Fearless SUL. Finally, we got some wind the last few days and although it's very crappy wind Grin it sure was nice to fly a standard for a change.

The breakdown:

Fearless SUL 95%
Mohawk XS UL 3%
Widow Maker 1%
Nirvana FX 1%

My favorite flying is in light winds so I've been happy as a clam flying my TrickTail UltraLite lately.  We have had a few high(er) wind days and I broke out my purple/black Viper and both Chris and I have enjoyed flying it with a purple transition tail.  Quite the crowd pleaser too I might add.

I got onto a STD Exile at Kite Party... Really nice kite, hadn't had a chance to fly it before.

Like it enough that I'm considering getting one.  Grin

Before I moved them on I flew the Challenger Mondrian and Miró demo. kites as much as I possibly could. By choice I'll fly my pimped Fury .85s in lower winds and my Androgyn when the wind allows.

TBH I like a bit of variety and like to air out the contents of the A-bag whenever possible.

I've settled on my Cosmic TC std as my most used kite ATM. It has the size and fluid trick speed I like. The Talons are next on the list. I just started flying again after a thumb injury (cricket) - I got bailed up by dogs the last two times I popped out for a "relaxed" fly. It's a bit stressful when you're risking your kite every time. Oh, for a dogless field......

Cheers,
Mike
