Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

No Santa Cruz this year?

As Dan said sadly no. BUT........we are trying to come up with ways to reinvent it for next year. BASKL (the organizers) were working with the Children's Hospice of Santa Cruz. The hospice was very instrumental in helping us acquire  the funds to put on this event. All monies raised went to the Hospice. This year the Hospice did not have the people power to help us get the funding. This occurred rather late in the game and we had to cancel the event. This event takes quite a bit of money to put on. The beach fees alone are VERY VERY expensive. If anyone has any ideas how we can bring Santa Cruz back I'm all ears!
