Hopefully someone can help me out. On the TOTL kites the leading edge has TOTL on them.

Did all TOTL, Team Hawaiian  kites have TOTL on the leading edge?

Did all TOTL, Team Hawaiian kites have stand offs?

   Thanks in advance.

No and no.

I have a couple Team Hawaiians without the logo on the LE.

The early kites did not have wiskers, they were available as an add on. The later kites came with wiskers.

That is correct and if I may add it is unknown what the evolution was in adding the TOTL silkscreen logo. I own several authentic TOTL models that do not have the logo, some that have the logo on one side and some that have the logo on both sides. The logo was also made in different colors.
If you are trying to authenticate a kite, make sure it has an original TOTL tag. Most TOTL tags are located along spine seam on the back of the kite. It is possible that a "custom" sail did leave the factory without a tag but i'm 99% sure every sail that left the factory for "retail" sale had a tag.
Also, wiskers (aka stand-offs) were introduced in 1990. The first TOTL kite model that had wiskers from its inception was the North Shore Radical. It was developed in 1990. It is possible but I am not certain that Hawaiian Team kites were being fitted with wiskers at the factory in 1989. I have a publication called "Hawaiian Retail Catalog" and it has wiskers listed as an accessory. The only date in the catalog is the color list effective date of March 1, 1989. The catalog could have been printed in 1990 though.
Exact details are often lost over time...

Usually silver color logo for serial kites and gold for custom.  Wink

+ 1. TOTL tag on the kitebag too.

Thank you for the input. From the responses it appears I do have an authentic TOTL Team Hawaiian.

The tag on the back is a TOTL tag, It says patent pending with hand written AB on it. There is also a tag on the bag that matches the tag on the kite.

The kite is in great shape. I'm thinking about selling it and I don't truly know what the value would be.
