One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Hi all!

Next Saturday I have a free day in Vegas. We planned to make a trip to Red Rock to escape the city a little before a week long conference.
Is it possible to fly out there or do I need to find a place where it is permitted? For those of you who know the area this might seem like a dumb question I am sure Cheesy

Thanks!
Jon

Las Vegas has a huge number of parks. Red Rock is beautiful, although I've never flown a kite there. Walking trails all over, so I'm sure you could put up a kite without bothering anyone else. A lot of us will be at Kite Party that weekend. Post some pictures.  Smiley

Do NOT do donuts at Lake Ivanpah near Primm.

Protected lands. Serious fines.
