Formalities first - thank you for accepting me in this forum Smiley

I have been flying a no-name brand framed 2 line stunt kite for at least 2 decades and had hours of fun but alas, the wear and tear of years of flying is threatening to ground my beloved kite.

In South Africa we have a few online kite suppliers and seemingly the best replacement option would be a HQ kite.
I am looking at the HQ Fazer XL and/or the HQ Whizz as my exiting kite has a wingspan of 2.5m which the Fazer XL being 2.8m. I would have loved to go slightly larger with the Fazer XXL but it seems they are not available in South Africa.

The speed of the HQ Whizz appeals to me but I love the power of my current kite, hence consideration one kite for power and another for speed.

The Prism brand also looks very attractive but I have yet to find a supplier in South Africa.

Your thoughts would be much appreciated.

I have flown the XXL. It is a slow kite (remember, it's huge). While fairly tricky, the arm movements are large and require a lot of energy. It's a workout. I haven't flown any of the others you mention.

The Prism Quantum Pro (I have 2) is an excellent overall sport kite. It is not quite as tricky as a few other newer kites, but flies incredibly well and will do all the tricks I can do. Here is a fractal version of the QP.
