One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I need a 25' cable to hook up my macpro to my router.

I'm seeing CAT5e cables and CAT6 on newegg.   Which do I need?

Thanks,
JW

Hey John...
DD is right, either will work. At 25 feet, you'd never see the difference.

For connecting servers and other types of high performance computing gear together through high-end gigabit switches, Cat 6 is the way to go, but for workstation applications, even linking a few computers with Gig-E network cards together, Cat 5e is just fine. Buy name brand cables, not the generic no-name junk.

Thanks Allen. I don't know any brand names though except for maybe Belkin?
