Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Yes I had to calibrate the rubberband to produce just the right amount of tension so it collapses real easy.
I will put up a video soon on it, thanks to all for the help Wink

I get it now.
Was trying to over think it.

so it's just the climbing inertia which folds the wings when it hits the stopper? if so does that mean as it's falling the force of the wind on the wings thanks to gravity might be enough to open them again and reset itself automatically?

Yes, it resets itself when it hit my hand (I was holding the line).  Surprised....and I have 3 of them Smiley  If the wind picks up today, I will have the video on this climber...such a beauty.

Resets at the bottom? Very cool, sort of a perpetual motion thing.
