Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

The fond farewells over on the old site reminded me of the real value of the GWTW Forum ... the friends we've made through the years.

It also made me remember the friends we made that aren't here with us to welcome in the new forum.

Mike Gillard, Dave DeBella, Larry Smith and of course who could ever forget Shane Hill.  Thanks for the memories guys.

Unfortunately I never met Al.
I failed to mention one of the dearest people we've met through kiting that passed not to long ago ... Marie Whitney aka Mom.  If you've ever met Dan you had to be amazed that such a sweet woman could have raised such a son (I always thought he must have been adopted) Wink

Charlie M'Clary, we'll always miss him. We had a nice thread on the old forum when Charlie moved on.

I want to thank John Barressi for getting his tribute fly to Charlie video up. I watched it in person and always wished I had a video cam at the time, found it last month, perfect choice of music for Charlie ... "Hell yeah he did"

In Memory of Charlie M'Clary

It is always sad to loose good friends - even those I only knew through the internet.
