High Aspect Ratio Sport Kites

One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.

I always think Eclipse when I think where the high aspect thing was going. It was way ahead of it's time.

Ahem. 

a) can we all stick to the correct definition of aspect ratio for this application please. Just because two kites have the same height and wingspan does not mean they have the same AR.

It may have a wide nose angle but the Eclipse isn't my idea of high AR. It's carrying plenty of sail, especially outboard towards the tips. I doubt I'm telling you anything new here.

Yeah, but it was designed to do all the flippy stuff like it's peers, more of an evolution in high aspect design.
