Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I'm sorry that happened to you.  I'm just sitting here shaking my head and trying to avoid going on a rant about such behavior and the seeming decline of civility and social conscience.  Oooops, almost couldn't avoid it.

Whatever happened to honesty, integrity, and a moral compass?? It seems like we're in very short supply of those things these days.

This is the first time in 9 years that Sammy is reporting a theft.  In years past, people have reported entire kite bags being stolen from cars that were left overnight.  Compared to the number of kite bags merrily making their way through time and space, it still sounds like we are talking about a fairly low incidence rate.

That said..... "Perfect paranoia is perfect awareness."

I never leave stuff in cars overnight.  Won't park a car with kite or camera or tools that's out of line of sight, if I can help it.  Tend to keep kite bags down wind or within my periphery rather than behind me.

I'd like to think that most people are basically honest, but it's not my normal nature.... trust but verify.

ATB,
Sam

Sam , this is true and Iím greatful it was only lines. Iíve been in kiting way over 10 years and 99% of the time people kites n stuff are in good hands. If you needed a line set I would have given you one.
