So, I've actually gotten out to fly this weekend, but here in West Michigan we have had 16-25 MPH winds. I didn't think it would be wise to get out the big kites, sense I usually fly alone.

I did get my NSR that Mike got me parts for, and I landed it when I started seeing the lower spreader start to bow. I didn't want to break it.

I flew my HQ Delta hawk in the 20-25 MPH, that was really fun. And in the 16-20 MPH, I got out the Prism Jazz. I emailed prism and they said that kite will handle the higher winds fine, just needed to up the flying lines.

All that being said I really want to fly one of my Thor's Hammer, or my TT Big Hawk, or my Pandora that I just got, but with the high winds, I didn't want to break them.
Hopefully this Sunday the winds will be a little less and I can get a couple big kites out!

Here my Tori Tako Big Hawk!

Many have suggested that to me, but for now I am sticking to my framed kites!

What you don't count the big stick up front as a frame?

Sorry! Lol! Not just yet. Quads and Flexies don't count for me yet! Wink Maybe in the future, but not now!

I flew the Mamba! It was a not very windy, so for the standard Mamba it was a little tough. But is was a fun kite to fly! I flew few more kites (NTK Firestorm, Skynasaur Slicer, and Thor's Hammer) overall is was a good day flying!

Into my 2nd winter of flying. Much prefer 15 mph when it's 15 F. Enjoy a slushy beer or 2 when flying. 95 degrees in 10 mph I can never seem to drink enough water. No beer cause it's dehydrating and gets warm way to fast  Sad.Plus a kite caught in a dust devil is a adrenalin rush I can live without. 4 rattlesnakes in my flying field last year.Lot of them around here and expected more. Nice to look at but I've heard their bite sucks.Still summer flying is better than no flying. Finally ordered my next sul last week and got a full vent Rev. Figured I'd be set for awhile. Nope thanks to these bigger is better threads  Angry I NEED (okay want  Embarrassed) a BIG low wind trick kite. Man I ain't ever going to get a Benson Superfly at this rate.

I haven't flown much, but I did get the Crystal's Chainlink out! I didn't realize it was a big-ish kite. It measure 93" wingtip to wingtip. It is also a nice looking kite! I can't wait to fly it!

I got out and flew yesterday. We had a warm up to 42 form running close to 0 most the week.
I flew my TOTL Bi-Plane and Crystal's Chainlink.
The Chainlink was a fun kite to fly. It made tight quick turns!
