I am sure now i had one.T shaped .worked like a HALF MOON Syringe almost, without any needle at the end Roll Eyes. The Half Moon Slid over rod and then up to the spar fitting, thumb on rear of device and fingers over each side of the TPiece,Apply some pressure toward fitting with thumb and drawing back with fingers over the TPiece.... Voila.

I probably woke then from my dream, but it works in my head. Cool Cheesy

Well,my spar puller arrived Today[2].I have just used one for the first time and they make quite a good job of it.Much easier to remove spars, much easier. In-fact,its a must for anyone with joint issues or poor grip.Mine are the same as the Link above Sherman Myers kindly posted.Cost was under $10 for two off Flee Bay.

Might this be the thing of your dreams? Got a couple from Dan waaaay back when, dunno where the other one went. May have given it away.

This one is more of a 'pusher' I guess, depending on perspective...
...

Update: Found it in the wayback machine! GWTW catalog circa March 1997. It is called a Kite Mate. Sold back then for the princely sum of $2. Later found it in the 2004 catalogue for a mere buck Wink
