One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

It was John C I was referring to.
Since that line came from the Beatles tune "Revolution 9", and he doesn't own any Beatles albums, I figured he'd miss it.
Evidently he's not the only one.  Cheesy

Not owning a Beatle album, doesn't mean I wasn't subjected to their tunes by the radio, friends or elevators.

Just because I don't own a Bob Marley album doesn't mean I don't know who shot the sheriff, and it probably wasn't Eric Clapton.

The Beatles certainly gave us more songs that have stood the test of time than any other musical group/individuals. But don't mistake quantity for quality. If that were true, cheap single line kites would be the ones we all should own.  Smiley

My love for the DC5 was probably more me needing to find a group that wasn't the Beatles so I could appear cool to my then peers.

Some groups who I found groundbreaking, and not just a British band peddling off traditional blues as their own (Yardbirds, John Mayall, etc.)
The Doors
The Who
Spirit
Gentle Giant
The Nice
Jackson Heights
The Yes
The Beach Boys (Wilson was a genius)

There are many more, but hey, a list is just a list.
