One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Sunday I got to fly with 2 guys from the Mile High Kite Club. Got invited to join the club couple weeks ago so I did  Smiley. 2nd time flying with the one fella and once again SUL wind. No quad instruction but well worth the trip. 4 kites were put up. My Tekken, Ocius, 7 and a no brand kite from England.Tekken struggles under 2 mph but that's it's lowest stated range. 3 mph and I'm good to go. The Ocius was just flat out AWESOME. Quick, responsive and seemed really tricky.Kite has the 00 frame and I was pretty intimidated by it. Did not want to jack up that kite up. Could have flown it longer but I need some better skills for that kite. Didn't get to fly the 7 because the guy doesn't know me and didn't volunteer it.Didn't ask because I wouldn't have let me anyways LOL. What a fantastic looking kite.1st impression was it's everything it's cracked up to be. Guy can drive that kite and in 0 to 3 mph impressed the hell out of me. The unbranded was sewn by a 16 year old  Huh. Was told the kid won some competitions, built some kites and then kinda disappeared. Maybe about 22 now. In college? What a cool kite. Has the same colors as my blue ITW Hydra. Flew it quite a bit.Hope that guy reappears. When my 3/4 kites turn they get to a point where they feel like they turn faster. At that point this kite gives off a clicking sensation.Once I got used to it it's very cool. A very noticeable tell when timing tricks.Doesn't interfere at all just there. If for sale I would have bought that kite in a second. Ocius too.I've stuck to the 2 handed method when doing kick turns. Got educated on doing the one handed KT at the edge. Yesterday I got them flowing pretty good on my Nighthawk. Mongoose not so much. Very cool to be able to do the trick both ways.Think I'll finally start getting cometes consistently doing the one handed at the edge or in light wind. For now I catch them most often by rocking the kite back and forth at the top of the window. When missed I can fly off doing other things. Lot of times I catch a tip so I just go insane  Smiley. Reason why I practice up high most times. Those folks up north are going to teach me a ton. Pretty effin happy to finally get to fly with others. Man they have some awesome kites.
