One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Please feel free to add information as I don't know as

much as Charles Gillespie.

Under the 3 vertical dots is an option for "slideshow" which

will go to full screen.

Wish I'd been there!

Took the better part of a week for me to get up the nerve to look at these. Now I'm back in mourning...

We missed seeing you too Allen. KP 17 was epic.

Saturday was quite windy, but steady, so the SLK field got maximum play. It was great wind for John's noisy kite fly, a real throwback to the good old days

Sunday was reliable in the AM, as very light winds prevailed, and the dual line field was a SUL wonderland, and the glider kites ruled the SLK field. Wind later came up to a nice sub-10 mph level.

Photographic opportunities were so great that John got tired on Sunday Cheesy

Hope to see you next year!

Made at a UMAKE workshop.

About 12 feet in wingspan.

Contact Nic O'Neill for info.

The woman's name is Cat something.

Sorry, it's late.

Those are Kondor kites. Original design by Markus “Domino” Egger of Switzerland. Cat Gabrel and Jim Day taught them in classes at Oregon Kitemakers Retreat in January and U-MAKE retreat in Illinois in March. Really beautiful kites. I have my kit from U-MAKE waiting to be sewn.
