Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

The old top topic at 98 replies Kites You Regret Buying has finally been toppled.

The new Hot item for discussion is Flying Wings Aerobe at 111 replies, if you include the 48 replies to the thread Bell's new kite Aerobe (designed by Albert Chen) you've got 159

Is it the economy? Trying to cut back on expenses by halving our line costs?

Just seemed interesting, but then if you added all the replies to the 2 or 3 dozen threads on "What's the best SUL" that subject would remain the top discussion generator.

Lips sealed (isn't it about time to start another? Been a couple weeks again)  Wink

Well, if my memory serves from the old forum...

Barack Obama is: the greatest thing since sliced bread/the worst thing since spray cheese; and is going to: save the world/kill your grandma.

There.  Now *this* should be the most replied-to topic.  Cheesy

(note: the above is not intended to provoke an actual political discussion, but merely to satirize the assinine flame wars that plagued the old forum, and which have *thankfully* been eradicated here)

Roll Eyes I don't count them up, that info & more is under [More Stats] at the bottom by the who's online stuff, I just click in the now and then, see if I've been online too much (nope st3307 is still hours up on me) or talking too much (nope Chilese & Steve still have me beat)  Wink

Music topics have replaced political and religious topics.

I like the music topics, especially with the embedded video feature, have got to see a few things I hadn't been exposed to yet. Maybe time to get another one started up?
