I like the white version and the logo looks right at home on a kite.

What size is the kite Dodd?

Thanks for the video.  Smiley

I like the background - for the UL portion of the video.

Thanks for sharing.

Steve was checking out specs after Dodd posted the video, I'm curious too on the size, it looks pretty small.

Anything else in the works Dodd? Looking forward to more from the Skydog crew.

Surprisingly to me the STD "Black Dog" proto measures 79.5" tip to tip.

I flew the 'UL' recently at the Ocean Grove, NJ FUN FLY for an hour. Not sure of the weight in the tail as I was told it comes with extra weights but it fades real good and locks into the fade very good for an 'UL'. It did backflip with some effort but was told it probably needed more weight in the tail section which was probably true. It is small. My recommendation was to make it a bit bigger (it just needs more mass) to give the kite a little more feel or stability in the air. What is a real good flyer or should I say their best flyer from this outfit is Sweet Emotions. This kite can do it all and pretty well. I am not going to start comparing kite companies but Sweet Emotions is a good tricking kite - just my opinion with no weaknesses that I can pinpoint.

I'm looking forward to a chance to fly these Dogs. They look like they might be good on shorter lines in smaller spaces. I'll bet the UL would be good for some urban kiting, like the school parking lot next door to me. I think the design looks great, and if they come in at <$100, my local retailer will probably stock them. It's so frustrating that they won't stock any kites over $100, that's the reason I haven't flown a Skydog yet.
