Can anyone tell me how the Nitro versions of these kites differ from the norm?
Im considering a frame upgrade on both.
thanks in advance!

I had 2 standard Exiles - one nitro, one not.

It could have been minor differences in the way that they were adjusted, but I actually preferred the non-Nitro version.

As for differences, the nitro feels stiffer and needs just a wee bit more wind.  I also found that the non-nitro would easily rollup with no weight on the tail at all.  To get similar rollup speed from the nitro, I had to add 1 weight on the tail.

I liked both kites, they were essentially the same, with differences only noticeable in the very lightest of winds.

Near enough to a Muse - My Std Mantis has been both P200 and Nitro'd.
With the P200s it had a nice laid back, smooth feel but some people experienced wing tip shudder in stronger winds. With the Nitros it needs a little more wind but the upper range is extended noticeably. It feels a lot more rigid, responsive and tricky.

What you'd expect really.

Yep, what Ian said.  Nitros take just a tad more wind.  The stiffer frame is not as compliant as the P200 but handles bigger winds much better. No tip shimmy and a more solid feel.  I generally prefer the Nitros in the standards. Pretty much the same experience in all Ken's kites: Mamba, Mantis, and Exile.

Steve's Muse is framed in P200's, mine in Nitro's. I like mine better then his. He likes his more then mine. He has a much more refined & smoother flying style, I'm much clumsier and tend to yank & spank them around the sky.

The p200's seem to be a bit more "floaty" in both the Muse & the Exile and respond well to to smaller controlled inputs, the Nitro's IMO take better to more aggressive (or clumsier) flying styles since you don't deform the frame as much.

I'm the yank and spank type, and tend to be very hard on kites.

My Nitro Exile is the only kite I have never broken.
