Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

WOW! I wouldn't have thought this possible - must have used fire retardant sail material.

Would certainly put a bit of zip into a ballet routine.

That was very cool, If you Click on the link posted by thief, once it comes up right click page, when window comes up go down to All Accelerators in second window Click on translate with live search and windows will translate German into English, I never knew this could be done, always learning new things about computers.

OK, really cool. I thought putting the little LED lights on a kite was cool, but super sparklers too ? Awesome ! Like TPatters, I do wonder how they keep the kites from being damaged. I almost thought that the video wasn't going to end well for the kites...

The translate function of IE8 is pretty cool, but did you read it ? It didn't do that good of a job... I've seen some pages get translated flawlessly, and others, like that one, was hardly worth translating, it did such a bad job. I think you used to be able to do that with the search engine tools, but right clicking is much easier than copy & pasting the content.

i have pored over many many european kite pages across the years...and i have ended up being able to recognize and determine -by context- some of the words (do not even bother asking me to try to pronounce them!)...the ones that matter Wink other than that those pages ALWAYS have nice pictures....
maybe one day i will learn a new language....
