E3 bridle

One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.

In response to Adams and others who asked me to post the bridle setup of my Prism E3, here you have a picture with the lengths measured in centimeters from knot to knot. I hope this helps you enjoy your E3s more. Presently, after this bridle adjustments, adding 15 grams extra weight (in addition to the standard E3 spine weight) to the end of the spine and moving the yo-yo stoppers four centimeters down toward the wing tip, and after some hours to get used to its particular ways, this is one of the kites I enjoy the most.

It looks like you moved the bridle attachment points to the LEs, as well. I've adjusted my bridle in a similar way, don't have the measurements handy, though. I don't like much weight on a kite in general, so the factory weight about 2-3" below the center T works for me. I tried it closer to the tail, but didn't like it.
Since adjusting it the way I like, I think the kite performs some amazing looking tricks. It moves so slow, it gives plenty of time to think out the trick. I've only gotten about 5 hours on the kite, but the 3 hours of test & tune is paying off at this point.

Wow!, that E3 is gorgeous, that color scheme is not standard, must be custom made? how did you order it?
I agree with you, I do like the very slow manners of this kite, I use to fly it with short ultra-light lines (the ones that came with my Zephyr) in very light winds and although it is relatively heavy, I like tricking it while the other pilots have to start assembling the ULs.
About the extra weight, I would like to be skilled enough to trick with less weight, but I'm not, I need the extra inertia to achieve the yo-yo, the backspin and other tricks.
