One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Norm, contact me about the Soul if you are interested. Maybe we can work something out.

Cheers,
Sean

Thanks Sean, but I'm not interested in a Soul right now.

I had a Widow Maker and do not think its flight characteristics are similar to the SF 2.3. It has an excellent build and is made by a great company, but I would not compare the two. Just my 2 cents.

   Norm,
Check out Will Sturdy's Saber. Build quality is excellent and as for being tricky, this is what he used to burn up the east coast comps this year.

Thanks for this info. I was thinking as were a couple other post the WidowMaker would be what I was looking for to replace the SF 2.3 std. I was wanting flight characteristics and trickability of the Silver Fox.

Thanks Gary, I will take a look at the Saber. Again I was wanting to replace my SF with something very similiar in flight and tricks.

Some say the Silver Fox is a knock off of Lam's Sea Devil. I think they're different enough but I can see the similarity people are getting at. I like the SD way more myself and the durability is much better too. So if you can spend the dough & get a Sea Devil that would be a good  choice.

As far as the Widow Maker / Silver Fox comparison, there are some similarities in the Turtle depth and both will do single pop Cascades but they are even more dissimilar overall than the SD / SF. That being said the Widow Maker is an excellent overall kite and has a lot of tricks in it's bag. I love mine.
