Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

The fire is still flyin' and they're at an event about every weekend this summer.
The team is Zach Gordon, Josh Gordon, Dan and Kathy B (kitemom!), Russ Faulk, and Eric Wolf is the leader.
They fly the BMK killer bee UL, standard, and the v2 mambas with a bee-like sail pattern. Can send a pic if you'd like.

Just met up with most of them in Wheaton, IL last weekend. They flew a few demos in spotty winds and made it look awesome, as usual.  Smiley

That explains a lot. To bad, i liked their sticks better then skysharks at the lighter scale.

I liked very much the Avia G-Force tubes too.

But I tought that Avia Sport was now owned by Goodwinds kites.

Is that true ?  Huh

Kurt Dagener - Avia Sports
Answer: Retired, Goodwinds owns Avia

Don Tabor - Top Of The Line
Answer: Doesn't fly much because of bad knees and hips. After selling the rights to Top of the Line Kites about 8-10 years ago Don and Pat Tabor were designing inexpensive single line kites for the Chinese factory that bought them out. Then when Pat died of cancer a few years ago, Don hasn't been seen much. My TKO Sport Kite Team was sponsored by them from 1995 until 2003.

Ron Reich - Team Flight Squadron TOTL
Answer: He's still active in kites. He has a local team and they do a few demos. Ron does a few school workshops/demos now and then.

Alan Nagao and Team High performance:
Answer:    Not into the kite scene anymore. He attended the KTAI trade show a few years ago, but was dealing with Yo Yo's.  He's on facebook. His former Team High Performance team mate Allan Guillen is on my facebook friends list.

Chicago fire
Answer: Still very active! Second oldest sport kite team still active. Second only to The Windjammers Kite Team.
