Hi everyone!
New here, coming over from kitelife because of the lack of traffic Roll Eyes

Anyhow ...new since July of last year, my first kite, a T&T from Premier was a birthday gift from my wife, and maiden voyage March 17th.  Hooked!

Well, I'm not good enough for it, but ...I just picked up my new Widow Maker Custom UL on Friday!

And, the best thing was, on Saturday, Jon T came out to show me and my brother in law (in from out of town) a few things to work on and get the feel of flying, tricking, etc, etc.  Thanks again to Jon for taking the time! IT HELPED!! A LOT!

Not a bad thing that Jon's shop is right down the street!  Wink

Met some cool people from this site there, Jim and Joe ...chime in here guys when you can!

I've attached a link of some pics of my new baby, plus our venture on Saturday, plus, ....an extra pic of my brother in laws WM custom in black and Flo-yellow, w/ a red logo!   My specs are, charcoal, black, midnight blue, and flo-orange w/ a flo-orange logo.

Enjoy!!

...uhm....ok then!  Wink

Well, ...you have 2 neutrals, and two colors opposite on the color wheel!  Think Tigers, U-F, Denver Broncos, NY Mets, etc,..etc,...etc,....  Grin

Anyhow, thanks, and look for more pics this week of some 'outside' shots!

Excellent kite - rather odd colors but it came out very striking. I like it a lot!

Fantastic purchase - IMO, one of the best UL kites on the market.  Its a shame that John T and the WM UL don't get near the kudo's they deserve.

We used those same colors on our workshop Muse, they may seem an odd choice, even Rhonda wasn't sure, but she fell asleep so I pushed the confirm button. Most everybody agreed that they worked in the end and a few even picked it as thier favorite of the first bunch.

Good taste nose and don't let'em tell ya' different - enjoy - IMO that is still the best learning kite I've flown.

Thanks everyone, .....

YES,...the lessons were unbelieveable...he's a good teacher, patient ...but shows you exactly what you need to do !!

gamelord, ...I understand the 'odd color' comment, ..my brother in law said the same thing to me, but when I started pointing out everything you see with 'blue and orange' he was astounded!  Quite a few sports teams utilize this combo, (blue and orange are opposite on the color wheel Wink) ...so, like I said in the OP, ... Detroit Tigers, NY Mets, Univ of Florida, Denver Broncos, ..just to name a few Grin

Anyhow, always like the colors and I wanted something unique looking...that's also why I went w/ florescent orange too Shocked

Thanks for the responses guys ...warm welcomes are great!

Here is the link again,...I just added 4 more pics to the "kite set", enjoy!

Oh, by the way ....thanks to Jim and Joe from this site who I met at our lesson with Jon, ..I got this idea, ....used some extra samples of Icarex I had, and made my own custom wind flag to match my kite Cheesy
