Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Mike,
I think what you're doing is awesome. I used to pour over those catalogs ever since I stumbled upon the ITW store on Pearl St. in the early-mid 80's. I was just walking with my family, and disappeared into that store, they found me in there like a hour later. Before finding ITW, I only knew about Gayla bat kites with bloodshot eyes...
Through 4 moves in the last 25 years, most of the catalogs got thrown out, or lost in a box, but I did come across the 1990 and 1991 recently, and what a great thing to go through again. All the colors of Hawaiins & Spinoffs ! Kites like the JaberWocky... What really amazes me is that we were spending the same $$$ on kites then as we are now. The difference being that most of the kites now are made in China. One of my prized kites came from ITW way back when, a huge French military kite with basswood spars.
I would pay to see the archive of the catalogs, and to save them for my own consumption, but I think you should get paid if anyone does. My offer to host it for free stands, my server has basically unlimmitted space, of which I use 1/2 a gig.

I currently have each of the catalogs printed 1981 -2009 plus a few supplementals, minus 2005 when they did not publish.

Thank for all that replied and assisted.
