Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I have tried contacting this individual via e-mail several times in the past couple of weeks about a problem I need resolved, and have had no response. I have e-mailed him 4 times and sent him two messages through e-bay. I would appreciate it if anyone who knows him lets him know that it would be in his best interest to contact me very soon.
Thank you.

Thank you. Ok, here is the situation... He is (WAS!) an e-bay customer, not a member here that I'm aware of. He ordered a Rev from my E-bay store about 6 weeks ago. I sent the order. He GOT the order. The order was correct. HOWEVER, apparently he was charged by England customs about $10.00 (would have been more but I put a lower than retail value for him), which of course had NOTHING to do with me. So he then gave me a less than positive feedback score on e-bay, thereby ruining my run of ALL POSITIVE feedback (he left "Neutral" for this transaction, citing the customs charge as the reason). I have tried to contact him many times asking him to revise this unfair score, to no avail. Of course I feel terrible if he actually passed away. This is my issue. It may seem trivial, but you would be surprised at how important feedback ratings are to many E-bay buyers, and my feedback score is very important to me. I am bothered by this situation. Thank you.

FWIW: It still shows that you have 100% Positive Feedback (yeah, the new eBay math).  The 1 neutral response doesn't show up unless you pull up details (at which point you also see the reason for the response). It would be nice if eBay let you see responses by +, neutral and -, but alas no.

You may or may not be able to resolve anything with Robert.  Personally anyone that dings you for customs (which you tried to minimize and couldn't have avoided entirely without flat out lying) has a rather interesting world view (translates the euphemism as needed).  He lists the VAT as 20 GBP or $33 dollars.

If you can't resolve things would the buyer, I would highly recommend leaving a response to the feedback on your profile, which as the seller you should be able to do.  Information on responding to feedback can be found here:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/feedback/respond.html

(apologies if you have already gone that route, but it wasn't obvious from the listing).

ATB,
Sam

I meant to type $30.00 for customs, that was typo. I'm totally aware of all the feedback and I know I still have 100%. And I DID respond with the reason. Anyway, thanks for help.

No problem.  Will still keep my fingers crossed that this is resolved to your satisfaction.  Was thrown because while I saw the neutral feedback, I didn't see your response in the details (perhaps this just goes through a moderation process and it hasn't clear yet).

Expect this person has no clue who you are or what you give to the kiting community either here, there or in the land of honey badgers Huh  Wink

Fair winds and all the best to you & yours, Dave.
