One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I only have one bag but it is filled with:
3.4 M 4-line parasail (Chinese)
Prism 3E
Flying Wings Acrobatx
New Tech - French Kiss
Flying Wings Rock-on (2) [I keep those in there for those "Hey can I try that?" or for the granddaughters]
Revolution 1.5 SLE
4-line Chinese “Rev” clone
Top of the Line Team Hawaiian
Flying Wings Mighty Bug 1.5
Premier Jewel
Prism Zephyr
Prism Micron 5-stack

There are also a few SLK's on order along with a new Snapshot foil.
Technically, the foils and the 5-stack aren't "in the bag" but they do go with me for every outing, and of course the Zephyr has it's own hard case so it lives there...

Looking at everyone else's bags makes me jealous! lol But I do love my kites too!

Nirvanas
NSEs
KFXs
NFXE
Organics
Widow Maker
Deep Space UL
Abraxas SUL
Wolkenstuermer Belusa

What is the Belusa like ? Can it trick ? I have a little "soft spot" for Wolkenstürmer, since the Devil was my first "real" kite.

The Belusa looks like a crossover of a KFX with a Fury .85.
It has a frame of cheap 6mm pultruded rods, no covered upper leading edge connectors,
but a reverse turbo bridle, 14g of weight and it tricks like crazy.
It is my vacation kite because of the frame (you get the rods everywhere) and
my bash and thrash stubble field kite, because it's cheap.
I like it a lot.

Bag 3 -  CDCxs - Sin - Element - X-Masque - Dot Matrix - Matchbox

The first 2 haven't really changed for a couple of seasons now, the 3rd one gets swapped and changed about planty.

I don`t have an "A" bag per se as my flying spot is literally across the street and I fly rev`s most of the time (deca`s some of the time). So I size up the day and take a selection of sizes (1, 2, 1.5), sails (std, mid and full vents), and frames (2,3,4 wrap) and go from there. Colours change as per mood. I also keep a few oldies aside for dunking in the water when the tide is in.
The 20% of the time I fly dualies there is an "A" list and they are old school as I`m an old school two liner...
Skyburner Pro Dancer(s) SUL and UL
Benson Reflex
Prism Radian
Joel Sholtz Neptune or Jaws
2 Beetles or 2 Alpha+`s if I wish to fly 2 at once..one in each hand, not stacked.

As I said, I have something of a "soft spot" for the Wolkenstürmers. And the Belusa has the looks, at least I think so. Making a memo for myself about the Belusa. Oh, also made a small update on my A-bag list on page 1, this thread. Litterally small.... Wink

Ps. Think I will write Wolkenstürmer and Die Toten Hosen, about making a kite with Die Toten Hosen logo.... Uhmm... Sweet... Tongue

Mamba, Soul, vented Merlin, Zephyr

Quad bag:
Rev B-series standard, mid vent, full vent, 2,3,4-wrap frames and two sets of race rods.  Rev 1.5 SUL.  Rev Super Blast.  Rev 1.5 (with mylar in the sail) with an SLE rod- cuz in a high wind it's like flying a pit bull.  lol  Benson Airbow- in the right wind, it's like taking a Porsche out and doing donuts in the parking lot.

Going to add:
Rev B-Series Pros, full set
Widow Maker standard and UL

These days, I'm reaching for one of three kites (lightest wind to heaviest):

  • Focus Echo
  • Talon UL
  • Focus Hydra

But I still carry at least twice that many kites with me to the field each time, just in case I want to do something different.

When I'm "seriously" preparing for a competition, I mix the Quantum Pros into there and alternate precision days with ballet days.
