Anyone know what diameter Aerostuff ferrules are?
Or why they cost $25 each?

BTW R-Sky has stop importing Aerostuff products and this option is no more avai. on their kites.

Aren't they tapered since the rods themselves start their taper right at the cut?

You can put a sleeve of either P100 or P200 (I can't remember which) over a normal .24 ferrule and it works fine. Maybe not ideal, but it makes using AS spars more affordable (Even if I was to spend $200 on spars for a kite, the extra $75 just for ferrules would really hurt  ) |

P100 or P200?
Either. Only difference is how long a sleeve you'll need. Since the P200 has a marginally thicker wall, you'll need less of it till it "seats" inside the rod. I adopted this method after breaking my first couple of Aerostuff rods at the ferrule. I can honestly say that I haven't broken one since (we're talking 3-4 years of hard flying). |

The As blue uses a smaller diameter than the gold.If you use the Pxxx method, P100 works a bit better in the blues.I use the pxxx for the same reason as Ron and bond it into the AS.
