I knew my impatience was gonna get me one of these days. I decided to try out my new (to me) Wolf in less than ideal conditions. Both wind and field; field was rocky in places, wind was gusty (1-10) and changing direction. Why I flew, or rather, tried to, I don't know...

Long story short, there was some unplanned ground work and I tore off a nock. It looks like there is a ferrule inside the LLE that the nock was mounted on. It no longer sticks out of the LLE however. I did have the nock briefly and when it escaped, it took the sail tensioning cord with it.
So, two questions:
1) I have nocks I believe will fit directly on the LLE tube. Is this a viable repair since the tip ferrule is still in there? Or, should I try to drill it out and replace ferrule and use correct nock? Or, replace whole LLE? I would like to hear some thoughts on this...
2) Since the nock vacated the scene with the tensioning cord as a hostage, what should I replace it with? I have some bridle cord but it's 170lb and looks to be about 3 or 4 times the thickness of what is on the kite. What do you guys use for this kind of stuff?
I am more concerned with the performance than the appearance of the kite afterwards, not that my ham hands will notice much

, but I am trying to maintain the balance of the kite as much as possible...
