One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

My first real kiting video, flying a McAlister celtic rainbow 1.5. Synchronized (badly) to music and everything! (Hope you like dubstep....)

Do you ever run into Vince out there? He was my fav Rev flyer at Shoreline some years ago.

Photo taken at Shoreline a little over 3 years ago.

Nice video, although the music isn't my cup of tea.

Yeah, Vince is basically a permanent resident at that field. I don't get much flying time (a couple hours a week if I'm lucky; more if I am very, very lucky), but it doesn't matter the time or the day—if I get out to Shoreline, Vince is there.

He's a really nice guy! I see him teaching people how to fly from time to time. I think he still has the old 1.5 in your picture, but I've recently seen him flying one of the new black/red models with the black center. Now those are some attractive-looking kites.

Also, thanks for the compliment on the vid, but yeah, I totally need to use more accessible music next time.  Grin

Beautiful Kite!

Use whatever music you want. You will never make everyone happy when it comes to music...
And frankly, even though I am not a fan of dub, I thought it worked in your vid. Keep up the good work!

(Here is the grain of salt ... my buddy John is an admitted Dido fan)

Watching Vince fly a Rev Super Sonic is a thing of beauty and amazement.
